Based in the Level One 763-bed Trauma and Academic Center, Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital, our program provides comprehensive otolaryngology coverage to over one million people in a large, rural, multi-state area. Otolaryngology services are also provided in several other Carilion hospitals, including Carilion New River Valley Medical Center, Carilion Giles Community Hospital, and Carilion Franklin Memorial Hospital. The section also operates clinics in three satellite locations in the region, with plans to open two additional sites within the next year. Clinical pathology is exceptionally broad, and our otolaryngologists perform the full breadth of procedures of all levels of complexity.

The CC-VTC system stands on the brink of unprecedented expansion and opportunity through the burgeoning relationship with Virginia Tech. The position requires an academic appointment at VTCSOM.
Other requirements include:
- MD/DO, Board Certification in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery
- Fellowship Training in Pediatric Otolaryngology, or ability to cover both Peds and Adults
- Evidence of strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Interest in teaching and/or research
