We are seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to work with Duke City Primary Care at our Albuquerque clinic. As a DCPC Pediatric Provider, you will be expected to diagnose and treat health conditions, as well as promote good health practices. As an advanced practice practitioner, you’ll be our go-to person for ensuring the best patient care possible. Jod duties include but are not limited to conducting physical examinations, interpreting lab tests and overseeing patients’ health. You’ll be both a health practitioner and an educator, supporting disease prevention practices and helping children lead healthy lives. In this role, you’ll work closely with other healthcare professionals, so team spirit and a positive attitude are keys to success! Patience, problem-solving skills and communication ability are also vital. If you’re dedicated to advancing your knowledge of pediatric care and clinical expertise through research and professional discourse, we’d like to meet you!
Responsibilities
- Examine patients and review their medical records
- Order and study diagnostic tests (blood tests, X-rays etc.)
- Diagnose health conditions and illnesses
- Develop and propose treatments for chronic and infectious diseases
- Prescribe medications
- Maintain accurate records and schedules
- Inform patients and/or their caregivers about their health conditions and prescribed medications as age appropriate
- Educate patients/family about diagnostic procedures, medications, and nutritional maintenance of health and wellness.
- Oversee patients’ overall health.
- Promote good health practices
- Continue to advance professional knowledge and conduct research

Pay: $9,500.00 - $11,000.00 per month
