The Pediatric Nurse Practitioner- The Pediatric Nurse Practitioner works as part of the clinic provider team performing a variety of direct patient services including assessment, diagnosis, implementation of treatment, evaluation, and monitoring the general patient management plan for clinic patients. The Pediatric Nurse Practitioner performs these functions under a current practice agreement with a licensed physician in a primary health care setting.
This position is full-time (40 hours per week) and will be primarily located at our Livestock Exchange Campus off 30th and L. The schedule will be Monday through Friday, generally between the hours of 8am and 5pm.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and a Nurse Practitioner program recognized by the Board of Nursing or from a program otherwise designated for Pediatric Nurse Practitioners which has been approved by the State Board of Nursing. APRN license in Nebraska or temporary licensed.
- The ability to relate with effectiveness to patients and providers.
- Must be qualified in Basic Life Support techniques.
- Sufficient experience to carry out the duties of this position.
- Proficiency in Spanish and English is preferred.
