Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences - New Jersey Medical School Department of Pediatrics offers an opportunity for a Pediatric Hospitalist to join our faculty of more than 30 full-time clinicians and scientists as an Assistant Professor.

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience

MD degree and board eligible or board certified in Pediatrics. Candidate must possess a valid NJ license, CDS and DEA.

Certifications/Licenses Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Applicant must demonstrate excellence as a clinician educator.

Equipment Utilized Physical Demands and Work Environment Overview

Candidate will provide patient care in the Division of Inpatient Pediatric Hospital Medicine and provide comprehensive evaluation and management for patients with other healthcare professionals to educate patients and their families about their conditions. Candidate will participate in the education of medical students. Candidate will actively contribute to the primary missions of the Division of Inpatient Pediatric Hospital Medicine through accessible high quality health care, scholarly activity and education.

Immunization Requirements

Under Policy 60.1.35 Immunization Policy for Rutgers Employees and Prospective Employees, Rutgers University requires all prospective employees to provide proof that they are vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to commencement of employment, unless the University has granted the individual a medical or religious exemption. Rutgers University may require certain prospective employees to receive an updated (bivalent) vaccine dose.
