The Registered Echo Tech is responsible for performing standard and complex congenital echocardiograms. Our patient population ranges from newborns to young adults. The echo sonographer must be skilled in working with pediatric patients with a wide variety of complex medical conditions. Patience and compassion are a must. The sonographer may be asked to perform ECGs, Holter monitor hookups, cardiac event monitor hookups, and cardiac exercise treadmill testing
