Compensation:

$18 - $24 hourly

Responsibilities:
  • Provide patients with oral hygiene advice to make sure they maintain pristine dental care a healthy smile
  • Help with administrative duties such as welcoming patients, taking phone calls, making appointments for dental visits, ordering supplies, and handling billing
  • Sterilize and lay out dental instruments and get all equipment ready, such as x-ray machines, anesthetics, and impression materials, to prepare treatment rooms for examinations and dental procedures
  • Work with dentists and dental hygienists during examinations and procedures by assisting with dental instruments and assure the patients’ mouths are comfortable, dry, and accessible to the dentist
  • Inform patients about proper oral health care to prevent infections after dental procedures

  • Perform coronal polishing on hygiene patients
  • Perform all expanded function Dental Assistant duties such as fillings, crowns, impressions, space maintainers, etc for operative patients

Qualifications:
  • Exemplary interpersonal, communication, and multitasking skills
  • Possess the ability to provide patients with excellent care and service
  • Applicants should have basic data entry and computer skills

  • Candidates must have graduated from a Dental Assistant program
  • Must have dental radiology/x-ray certification
