PMC Pinnacle is seeking a full-time Pediatric Nurse Practitioneror Physician Assistant to join our growing team in Carlisle, Pa. The ideal candidate will play an integral role in helping to build a program to provide high quality, compassionate care to patients in our community in 2024 and beyond.
Position Details:
- Help build our new neonatology practice in our 6-bed Level-II NICU in our UPMC Carlisle Hospital.
- Pediatric Nurse Practitioner will provide care to infants and children
- Perform well-baby and child physical exams and access for illness, order diagnostic tests, create treatment plans, and administer treatments.
- Communicate with parents and guardians regarding the state and treatment of their children
- Work alongside team of skilled physicians, neonatal nurse practitioners, and allied health staff
Job Requirements:
- Graduate of an Accredited Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program with Board Certification (ANCC), BCLS, PALS (ACLS and NALS optional). Experience in Pediatrics in either: inpatient or critical care. Will need to apply for prescriptive authority with the PA Board of Nursing. Must be eligible to apply for a DEA number. Must have current CPR/BLS certification.
