Responsibilities

 

Goodlettsville Pediatrics, a division of Summit Medical Group, is seeking a PediatricClinical Supervisor to join their practice. This is a Full-Time opportunity.

 

**Must possess current Tennessee RN or LPN license 

 

Responsibilities: (List does not include all duties assigned)

  • Supervises and provides leadership to practice clinical personnel. This includes employee evaluations, staff scheduling, conflict resolution, and other duties as needed.
  • Supervise clinical resources without removing yourself completely from patient care duties. / Ensuring you keep your personal clinical skill-set up to date.
  • Develops improved methods for task performance.
  • Create and keep clinical Process and Procedures Manual.
  • Adheres to, and monitors site-level compliance of, OSHA and other Federal and State requirements as it relates to clinical issues.
  • Orders medical and drug supplies using effective buying skills.
  • Assures clinical assistant coverage, effectively plans for varying needs.
  • Performs skilled clinical aid when needed, preparing patients, and helping physicians during examinations and procedures.
  • Supports Site Administrator with initiative-taking and meaningful information and aid, especially as it relates to clinical functions.
  • Responds effectively to patient concerns, including returning patient phone calls.
  • Supplies meaningful training to staff and checks their understanding and implementation of training. (Both current and new hires)
  • Maintains the office Vaccines for Children Program.
  • Attends meetings as needed.
  • Maintains strictest confidentiality both internally and externally.
  • Adheres to all aspects of the corporate compliance plan.
  • Actively takes part in site-level "Quality Improvement Activities" including monthly tasks for PCMH compliance. (Each employee will contribute to the continual evaluation site performance as well as the implementation and measurement of improvement activities that increase the quality of care provided to patients.)
  • Performs related work as assigned.
Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma required.

 

Certification/License: Current CPR certification required. Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.    

 

Experience: One -year experience in a supervisory position in a medical office setting.
