Pediatric Behavioral Health Provider, Licsw

Successful candidates will become an integrated member of the provider team at Wareham Pediatric Associates. Working within the practice's family-centered medical home, the Behavioral Health Provider will conduct clinical evaluations, deliver short-term, evidenced-based Behavioral Health interventions to patients and families, provide consultative support to our medical clinicians and staff.  The candidate will help support the medical home team in making referrals to community-based providers and services. The candidate will also form a connection to local resources and over time will build and strengthen the Behavioral Health services in our underserved community. A doctoral or master's degree in psychology, social work or mental health counseling and licensure for independent practice in Massachusetts is required. Experience working with children, adolescents, and families is required. Experience in pediatric primary care, or other pediatric medical setting is strongly preferred. Excellent diagnostic skills, and the ability to work flexibly, using problem-focused, cognitive and behavioral interventions is highly desirable. Candidates should have a proven record of collaborative service delivery, outstanding computer and verbal communication skills, and the flexibility and adaptability required to work in a very busy medical practice. Candidates should be comfortable providing practice medical clinicians with consultative support. The position is full time or part time. The work schedule may vary depending on patient need.
