Education & Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- CPR certification required.
- 1-year housekeeping or spa experience preferred.
- Bi-lingual preferred.
- ACE certification desired.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service-oriented manner.
- Maintain regular attendance in compliance with The Peaks Resort standards, as required by scheduling which will vary according to the needs of the hotel.
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform and nametag when working/current uniform is black or white on black.
- Comply at all times with The Peaks Resort standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.
- Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times.
- Employees must, at all times, be attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to all guests, managers, and fellow employees.
- Greet and welcome all guests and members and offer assistance including but not limited to; issuing lockers, offering towels, assisting with lockers, steam, and sauna, and guest amenities. Continue to offer assistance on an ongoing basis.
- Must be the initial and complete source of information regarding what is available at the Spa and all procedures to ensure guest comfort (i.e. treatments, equipment and products).
- Directly responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the Lounge and Tearoom including ensuring facility/amenities are stocked and in proper working order.
- Monitor fitness area for cleanliness.
- Maintain supplies as needed.
- Demonstrate and give complete and proper instruction on the use of steam and sauna equipment.
- Use Spa software to check guest appointments.
- Recognize and respond appropriately to emergency situations.
- Assist in the fitness area, as necessary.
Marginal:
- Attend meetings/training as required by management.
- Perform other duties as requested from management.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
The position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Physical Demands:
- Must be able to function effectively at elevations of 10,000 feet or higher.
- Flexible and long hours sometimes required, including holidays and weekends.
- Heavy work - Exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently and/or in excess of 20 pounds constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
The pay rate for this position is $18.50/hr.
