P.E Teacher for Preschool (Part-time)
Preschool’s Overview:
Our goal at Kendall Academy Preschool Center is to develop a safe educational environment that instills a desire to learn while delivering a tailored learning approach. We will cultivate a positive atmosphere to better the learning experience for each child. Prior experience with young children is preferred. Day-to-day Role and Responsibilities:
- Be the face and the front line of the Physical Education, Soccer, and Fitness program in each class.
- Interact with parents, teachers, school administration, and children daily.
- Lead energetic and motivating classes, connect, and challenge each child, help them to accomplish motor development goals, and inspire a love of movement and healthy habits in an organized, structured, and fun manner.
- Effectively clearly communicate issues to the office and provide solutions.
- Showing up on time to class, physically and mentally prepared (including commuting time).
Requirements:
- Prior experience in coaching and working with young children is preferred.
- Must be motivated, energetic, patient, and attentive.
- Hands-on, dynamic, and outgoing.
- Availability Weekday afternoons (2 pm – 6 pm)
- Authorized to work in the US.
- Speak, read, and write English.
- Be on time with good attendance.
- Be patient and flexible.
- Be able to interact with children.
- Ability to move, assist, and lift children.
- Ability to lift 35 lbs.
- Ability to move, walk, lift, bend, stretch, and use hands, arms, legs and feet.
- Able to pass a DCF fingerprint, background check, and drug screen.
