SalaryThe Pediatric Care Technician (PCT) is an unlicensed multi-skilled worker who supports patient care by performing specific nursing tasks and support functions as delegated by a licensed provider. Care provided by the PCT is supervised by a Registered Nurse.
EXPERIENCE:
- Graduation from a patient care program (i.e. MA, CNA, EMT), or two semesters of a Nursing Program, or two years in a similar role in lieu of a patient care program or nursing requirement
- Minimum six (6) months providing direct patient care preferred
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to be delegated tasks by the RN
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a timely manner
- Medical terminology and Bilingual skills preferred
EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma/GED
- BLS - Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire or transfer into position
POSITION DETAILS:
- Part-time, 48 hours per pay period. Night shifts
PAY RANGE:
- $18.70 - $27.10
