PC/Network Technician resolves problems by providing support and troubleshooting for the networked desktop environment, assists and trains users in basic operation of hardware and software needed for their job function. Provides all essential desktop PC & peripheral installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. This position is for work in a Community Health Center, work hours will shift across weekends (some weekends on/some weekends off). Experience in Health IT setting is preferred.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
· Networked Desktop Support
· Hardware & software troubleshooting
· System updates
· Removal of Malware/Viruses
· Health Service Applications
· Communication between IHS, Tribal, and Health Leadership.
Equipment & Software:
· Desktop PC
· Mobile Devices
· Windows & Mac Operating Systems & software
· Antivirus & Malware removal applications
· Support ticket system
Requirements:
In order to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform essential duties with expertise. A high level of skill and knowledge is expected and required.
· 2 years of professional experience with networked desktop systems
· Analytical thinker, detail oriented
· Advanced knowledge of desktop operating systems and troubleshooting
· Intermediate knowledge of networking concepts and equipment
· Systems Analysis & Change Management experience
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Work effectively in a team environment
Certifications:
· A+
· Network+
Education and Experience:
A High School diploma or GED
Technical Degree, A.S., B.S., or equivalent experience
