Pcb | Lamination Operator | 1St Shift

Essential Job Function:

• The Lamination Operator is to perform all the duties related to Lay-up layers and press safely and efficiently.
• Must be able to clean plates, separate for lay-up, oxide layers, when necessary, panels must be identified. according to the traveler and customer specifications, panels will be loaded into the press to the right recipe and unload/breakdown the books.
• Ensure the quality of the panels meets the standard of the blueprints before proceeding to work to the next department.
• Operate all department equipment, quality checks, preventative maintenance and minor repairs
• Enter jobs into the manufacturing tracking system
• Read and interpret shop order to verify that all previous operations were completed, to verify count and to verify quality
• Maintain a safe, neat, and organized workplace
• Ensure the quality of the panels are meeting the standard of the workorder before proceeding to work to the next department.

Essential Qualifications, Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in the printed circuit board industry or any similar manufacturing related industry
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English
• Ability to work overtime, weekends and holidays as needed
• Able to read and interpret blueprints
• Able to work in a team environment and willing to cross train

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand 8-12 hrs.
• Ability to consistently lift 25 pounds
