PCA/CNA/Fishersville/Harrisonburg, VA/$22 hr

As a CNA/PCA for Interim HealthCare® Staffing, you'll join an organization that cares for its staff as much as the patients they serve. Interim Healthcare is seeking a CNA that can work at facilities in Harrisonburg or Fishersville, VA. This position is PRN so you will have the option of working FT or PT hours. Our Primary shift needs are from 7am to 3 pm, 3pm to 11 pm, and 11pm to 7am. We offer weekly pay!

As a Certified Nursing Assistant, here's a big-picture view of what you'll do:

- Care for the personal care and hygiene needs of patients in facilities such as nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and rehabilitation centers

- Work with a team of physicians, RNs, LPNs, and aides to deliver excellent patient care

- Help with daily needs such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, eating and nutritional intake

- Assist with ambulation, transfers and range of motion exercises

- Check vitals, measure intake/output, monitor blood glucose and document any changes

- Observe patient and notify supervisor of issues requiring a change in care, medication or equipment

A few must-haves for Personal Care Aides/Caregivers:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
• PCA certification
• a minimum of 6 months experience in a healthcare (experience caring for more 5-10 patients at once
• Valid CPR certification (no online course accepted)
• Compassionate and helping nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
