Pca Personal Care Assistant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping individuals maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. This is a paid position that offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of others.

Available: 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM and 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM

Schedule: Every other weekend required

Pay Range: $11 to $13 per hour

Requirements: No certification needed. Must be able to work every other weekend Must pass a criminal background check. Ability to lift at least 35 pounds

Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with Personal Care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Provide assistance with mobility and transfers
- Administer medication reminders according to prescribed schedules
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding, if necessary
- Perform light housekeeping duties, including tidying up living spaces

Experience:
- Must have 2 years experience as a Personal Care Assistant or similar role is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of basic caregiving techniques and practices
- Ability to effectively communicate and interact with individuals of diverse backgrounds and abilities
- Compassionate nature and genuine desire to help others
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect client privacy
