Summary/Objective
Five Stones Research Corporation (5SRC) is seeking energetic candidates to join our established and growing Huntsville-headquartered family.
Essential Functions
- Responsible for monitoring IT related project milestones and reconciling project status.
- Support deployment and sustainment of government customer initiatives such as the electronic security and security camera system.
- Serve as the staff’s Excel expert, support development of charts, graphs, spreadsheets supporting government customer's metrics program Review and Analysis.
- Assist staff on all Excel related matters.
- Provide support as needed.

Required Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience upgrading components of aging systems; addressing networking features, like servers and routers; providing various computer maintenance and repair services.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Department of Defense (DoD) 8570.1-M, Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program baseline certification of Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II, specifically one of the following certifications, or an associated higher level certification that encompasses one of the following; or, within six months of start of work acquiring one of the following:
- Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA) Security +
- CompTIA Security+ Continuing Education (CE)
- CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+) certification (formerly listed as CSA+)
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Security
- Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC) Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP)
- GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC)
- Council of E-Commerce Consultants (EC-Council) Certified Network Defender (CND)
- International Information System Security Certification Consortium, Inc. (ISC)² Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)
- Experience in personal computer (PC) applications and operating systems.
- IT Help Desk-level knowledge and troubleshooting experience with Windows 10, Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Office, and other PC applications and operating systems software; network components functioning; and PC and network hardware.
- Certificates of training in Windows, McAfee Host Based Security Software (HBSS) and Assured Compliance Assessment Solutions (ACAS).
- IT vulnerability mitigation experience.
