Pc Refresh Technician Level 2

Duties & Responsibilities:

Successful candidates will support the Okaloosa County School District (OCSD) Seat Management Team with refresh of several thousand devices. Candidates will assist with removal of existing equipment and the receiving, unboxing, placing and configuring of new computers and related support equipment within customer sites across Okaloosa County, FL. Candidates will be working with other team members in order to complete the tasks assigned. The ideal candidates will be able to follow work instruction with limited supervision.

Additionally:

• Provide IT Field Services such as: computer desktop support to local locations on-site in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Maintain, analyze, and fix computer systems, hardware, printers, and computer peripherals.
• Provide field tech support on a variety of computer hardware and software issues by identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems.
• Resolve computer problems and advise/implement appropriate actions/solutions.
• Communicate regularly and effectively with ticket submitters.
• Maintain records of daily transactions, issues and remedial actions taken or installation activities in the ticketing system.
• Other duties as assigned as needed.

Qualifications

Experience

Required:

• Must be willing and able to work 6-8-hour days, 5 days a week for up to 4 months.
• Possess technical knowledge related to PCs and their use.
• Ability to provide on-site field technical services for clients with a friendly demeanor.
• Must be able to repetitively lift 50 lbs.
• Must be at least 18 years of age with proper identification.
• Dependable transportation with valid driver's license is required for local travel between sites.
• Ability to pass employment background check and drug-screening.
• Ability to pass Level 2 Background Check per site contract requirements.
