Form of workThe PBX Operator is responsible for answering telephone calls and successfully connecting the caller to the appropriate party. The ability to respond quickly and accurately to the emergency telephone and/or alarms. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. High school diploma or its equivalent with no previous experience required.
