Responsibilities:
- Assist with payroll processing tasks (data entry, verification, deductions, etc.) under the direct supervision of the Payroll team (opportunity to learn core payroll functions).
- Participate in payroll audits and compliance efforts specific to the manufacturing industry.
- Generate reports and dashboards to visualize and communicate complex payroll information for the HR department and management.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new payroll processes and procedures.
- Provide support to employees with payroll-related inquiries.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
- Associates or Bachelor's in Accounting or Equivalent preferred
- Experience navigating large datasets and identifying trends within a manufacturing context preferred
- State Tax knowledge preferred
- ADP Payroll
Education:
Associate
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 year of experience in Payroll
- Basic understanding of payroll tax principles
- Payroll Code Knowledge
- Strong Excel skills
