Titan Roofing, Inc. is the premier commercial roofing, sheet metal, and restoration contractor of the northeast. We are seeking a highly motivated, detail oriented, self-starter to join our Accounting Team as a Payroll Assistant in our Corporate office in Springfield, MA. Job Responsibilities:
- Enter daily time into the payroll software (CF Data) including overtime, mileage, per diem, etc. Analyze time reports to ensure correct rates are used for various unions and pay differentials.
- Complete certified payroll reports using the forms provided with job contracts.
- Process new hire paperwork, enter their information into payroll software and complete I9s and file. Scan safety certificates and save them to employee folders in the database.
- Job Number creation into our computer system.
- Scan safety certificates and other key safety required documents and save them to employee folders in the database.
- Perform daily payroll department operations.
- Handle all mail/filing for the department.
- Process unemployment notices.
- Assist with completion of payroll check distribution every week.
- Backup team members on the accurate processing of Wage Garnishments.
- Special projects as assigned by the Payroll Manager or the CFO.
Qualifications:
- Attention to detail and highly organized
- Prior construction industry experience in PR a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
