Standvast Fulfillment seeks an experienced Payroll/Benefits Manager to join our team. Standvast is leveraging a track record of developing best in class supply chains for the world's leading e-Commerce businesses to develop a technology-enabled, purpose-built e-Commerce fulfillment platform focused on high-growth brands. Standvast seeks an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll and Benefits Manager to join our dynamic Standvast team. In this role, you will contribute to our thriving workplace culture by overseeing Payroll and Benefits processes catering to exempt and non-exempt employee populations. This position requires proactive communication, strong problem-solving and analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments. Key Responsibilities:

Payroll Management:

  • Process and manage end-to-end payroll activities, reflecting our commitment to timely and accurate compensation for our employees.
  • Ensure that our payroll processes align with our fairness, transparency, and equality values.
  • Proactively identify and resolve any payroll discrepancies or issues to maintain a positive employee experience.

Compliance and Reporting:

  • Stay up-to-date with federal, state, and local regulations related to Payroll and Benefits.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Generate and analyze regular reports on Payroll and Benefits metrics for management review.
  • Safeguard and maintain accurate employee records, reflecting our commitment to data protection, confidentiality and respect for individual privacy.
  • Strive to create an environment of trust by handling employee information with the utmost care and sensitivity.

Problem Solving and Analytical Skills

  • Utilize strong problem-solving and analytical skills to resolve payroll discrepancies and optimize benefits administration.
  • Proactively identify areas for process improvement, demonstrating a commitment to efficiency and effectiveness.

Proactive Communication and Collaboration:

  • Cultivate a proactive and transparent communication style, ensuring information flow across all levels of the organization.
  • Act as a compassionate and approachable resource for employees, reinforcing our commitment to an open and supportive communication culture.
  • Facilitate training sessions and workshops that empower employees to understand and make the most of their Payroll and Benefits offerings

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Payroll and Benefits Manager or similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of payroll processes, benefits administration, and relevant regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Proficient in using Payroll and HRIS software.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working in a multi-state payroll environment.

Nice to Have:

  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or similar certification.
  • Familiarity with Dayforce and/or multiple Payroll and HRIS systems.
