Payroll Analyst

Temp to Hire Payroll Analyst-Camden, NJ

Responsible for monitoring tax filing service, validating quarterly and annual tax filing are accurate. Provides operational, administrative, technical and analytical support necessary to process bi-weekly payroll.

• Process P/R Corrections: When applicable, updates P/R history in Kronos.

Compares what was paid to what should have been paid, and validates with the amounts submitted on the P/R correction form by the timekeeper.

Notifies the timekeeper of any discrepancies

• Process additional payments: Inputs additional payments into Lawson.

Verifies that the payments are properly authorized, and charged to the appropriate cost center.

• Receives and resolves cost center questions concerning payroll.

Provides necessary support to all personnel in regards to their payroll needs or concerns. (Provides Customer Service).

• Maintains employee database by entering: payroll deductions, manual checks, direct deposits, W-4 changes and voids

• Responsible for wage attachments, maintaining appropriate records and communicating with the employee.

Responsible for notifying the proper agencies of any employee status change.

• Performs weekly Kronos and Lawson processes: Manual Overtime analysis, and bi-weekly approval process, employee purchases

• Processes manual checks, and ach reversals when needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $26.00 - $33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Experience:

• Payroll: 3 years (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• Camden, NJ 08103: Relocate before starting work (Required)
