We are looking for a Payroll Administrator to join our Salt Lake City, UT location. As a Payroll Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate payroll processing for our workforce of 800+ employees.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Communicate with managers and employees, addressing their questions and concerns related to payroll, promptly and professionally. Able to understand employee queries and provide clear, concise responses.
- Process bi-weekly multi-state payroll. Ensure accurate calculations and timely payments for hourly, salaried, and commissioned employees. Maintain meticulous records of changes, adjustments, and transactions. Keep detailed documentation for auditing purposes.
- Analyze payroll data. Identify discrepancies, inconsistencies, and errors. Resolve issues promptly. Work closely with colleagues to rectify any payroll challenges.
- Liaise with HR (Human Resource), Accounting, and Finance departments. Ensure precise data for payment processing. Manage payroll-related tasks efficiently.
- Review, upload, track, and organize relevant documents. Maintain an organized system for payroll-related paperwork.
- Gather and share payroll reports. Verify employee records. Consult with relevant departments to address any discrepancies.
- Create and issue manual checks as needed. When necessary, handle exceptional cases of processing. Provide timely assistance to employees facing payroll-related challenges.

Desired Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience, plus 2+ years of experience in human resources, accounting, business administration, data science, or information technology.
- Experience with Paylocity, or other HR and payroll software.
- Experience with payroll system implementations, change management processes and employee and leader training preferred.
