La Clinica de Familia (LCDF) is a FQHC with several locations in Southern New Mexico. For over 40 years, La Clinica has provided services to the residents of Southern New Mexico. Job Summary:
Performs daily posting of electronic, credit card, and check insurance payments through EOB guidance. Reviews Electronic funds transfer (EFT) report daily and post all insurance payments. Collects check log payment information daily and post all patient and insurance payments. Balances at end of day and submits daily report.
Core Competencies:
- Requires ability to interpret insurance EOB’s.
- Must have math and data entry skills.
- Must have high attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively without direct supervision.
- Must maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Must have knowledge obtaining insurance EOB’s through insurance portals.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent and two years' experience in similar position (preferred) .
- Previous experience in a medical setting (preferred)
