We are looking for a qualified person to perform routine clerical and administrative functions in the billing and collections department on the delinquent activity team.
This position will perform the following job duties:
Delinquent Scheduling
Delinquent Processing (letter creation, turn offs, follow-up)
Delinquent List updates for monthly board meeting
Delinquent Activity forecast
Delinquent Activity related to taxes for Districts
Delinquent Field Activity requests
Payment Posting
Account debit and credit adjustments
Collections review and selection
Report collection accounts to collection agency
Bankruptcies
Follow up delinquent activity – force final accounts, delinquent list retirement
An ideal candidate for this position should have the following qualifications and education requirements:
Must have High School Diploma or equivalency
Must have excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communications, and problem-solving skills
Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks to ensure successful completion of duties
Must possess a working knowledge of personal computers to include MS Word, Excel, and Internet
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
Excellent customer service and instructional feedback skills
