Pawdicure LLC is an online service startup company in Loudoun County, VA. The Pawdicure platform is an exciting new app that democratizes the niche market of pet nail trims for all Pet Professionals.

The demand for nail trimming services is exceptionally high almost anywhere you live. Chances are that grooming salons and vet clinics alone cannot support all the demand in an area. Separately, there is an entirely underserved population of pets who cannot bear a car ride to the salon nor the anxiety that comes with it. Many others may also have older pet parents who need extra assistance caring for them.

We created Pawdicure for Pet Professionals like you to tap into this market on your own terms to generate a new income stream for yourself and your family. We wanted to make it easy for the everyday Pet Professional who does not otherwise have the time to create a business, open bank accounts, find the best way to process payments, marketing, and all the other things. As Pet Professionals ourselves, we wanted to create an optional way for some of our grooming salon employees to generate more income on their spare time and near their homes. We thought nail trims can be done quickly and safely by a trained pet professional. Then we did the math and came up with our pricing structure. The effort was to make it lucrative for the pet professional and not so cheap as to directly compete with the price points at grooming salons. So, we priced the basic manual nail trim at $25. Pawdicure Techs keep 60% which comes out to $15 per basic nail trim. That does not even include tips or nail grind upgrades. Since you are in your own neighborhood, drive time will be low, and you can fit in 8+ nails trims in a two-hour period.

Pawdicure Technicians are Independent Contractors (1099)

Pawdicure Techs are responsible for setting their own schedule and maintaining it once clients are booked.

Purchase and maintain your own supplies and ensure Dremel is charged prior to appointments

Communicate with clients as necessary if you need to make changes, life happens and this is just your side hustle, we get it, but. Ghosting Clients = Removal from Platform

Maintain good standing on the Pawdicure Platform by keeping an average rating of 3.8 or higher (lower scores with at least 20 services = Removal for Platform)

Market yourself as the local provider in your area on social media or on your website. The Facebook Community Groups or the NextDoor app. (Pawdicure, LLC will spend the marketing dollars in your area, but you have free ways to market locally too, be creative)

Recommend one-time clients book recurring appointments with you

Keep the Pawdicure Provider app updated on Android or iOS
