Position: Patrol Officer
Department: 200 ? Field Operations
SUMMARY / SCOPE OF ASSIGNMENT:
The Patrol Officer?s primary responsibility is to maintain exceptional employee performance and job site compliance. The PO reports directly to the Assistant Director of Operations. The PO will be assigned a list of employees and job sites that he or she must visit on every shift. During the performance inspection, the PO will observe each officer and measure the officer?s overall performance. Criteria for the inspection may include the officer?s ability to write reports, the thoroughness of tours, and the officer?s general appearance and preparedness. The PO will report all information obtained during the inspection to his director manager. This position requires overnight work and will consist of heavy driving and long distances traveled.
JOB DUTY SUMMARY:
- Conduct Patrol stops at various locations utilizing a run sheet
- Maintain a log of all activity that had occurred on one?s shift.
- Report all issues and compliance items to a Security Operations Manager and work in concert with the on-duty Dispatcher.
- Assist in vehicle maintenance including cleaning, fuel ups, and oil changes.
- Assist in maintaining on-site tour routes and guard tour systems/devices.
- Perform employee and job site inspections on a daily and nightly basis.
- Assist managers in coaching and training security guards at job sites.
- Complete all required forms in order to complete and file compliance inspection report.
POSITION TYPE AND HOURS:
This is a full time / part time position and is hourly. This position is eligible for overtime pay.
Days and hours or work will vary depending on the operational needs of the company. Overnight hour may be required as a standard shift period.
