Creating eligibility list for multiple openings in 2024. Stillwater PD enjoys the support of elected officials and a community that loves its police. The department offers industry leading pay, events, and opportunities outside of patrol: SWAT, MFF, SRO, Investigations, Mental Health Coordinated Response, Firearms-DT Instructor, and a downtown patrol unit. The position maintains public order, prevents and detects crime, enforces laws and ordinances, apprehends criminal offenders, and provides emergency services. Requires Law Enforcement Associates degree or Certificate in Law Enforcement Studies by date of hire, MN POST License or eligibility to be licensed by MN POST. Include Cover Letter, Resume & Proof of License or Eligibility to be licensed with application. Signing incentive of up to $5,000 and for lateral officers, consideration toward an increased vacation schedule and wage placement. Applications reviewed upon receipt. 2024 wage range $42.33 - $56.89.
