This position is full-time, Monday - Friday. Employees are required to work our normal business hours of 9:30am - 6:00pm EST. Our office is located at 6 Neptune Rd, Poughkeepsie, NY

We offer 2 weeks of paid training. This will be on the job training and the hours during training will be 8:30am to 5pm EST, Monday - Friday.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide quality Customer Service to the patients and visitors courteously and promptly
  • Verify and update patient account information in the Misys system according to Front Desk policy and procedures
  • Works routinely with Patient Assistance or the Insurance Leader(s) with patient account and/or Insurance inquiries
  • Follow the Cash Security policy and procedures according to CAREMOUNT MEDICAL guidelines
  • Maintains work area and patient waiting room routinely and in a neat and orderly manner
  • Maintain knowledge of individual physicians scheduling requirements and preferences
  • Uphold a professional image and environment at the front desk within CAREMOUNT MEDICAL
  • Provide Patient Support and respond to requests for information in a courteous and timely manner
  • Performs related work as required

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma / GED OR equivalent experience
  • Must be 18 years old OR older
  • 2 years of call center or high volume customer service phone experience. 
  • Ability to work our normal business hours of 9:30am - 6:00pm EST

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience in a medical practice environment
  • Computer skills - Microsoft Office (Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel)

New York Residents Only: The hourly range for New York residents is $16.00 - $27.31 per hour.
