Programs are offered for children, adolescents and adults struggling with mental illness as well as offering services specializing in Anxiety, Eating Disorders, and Geriatric Services.

Job Summary 

Provides support to clinical staff in order to facilitate the administrative components of delegating appropriate referrals to the appropriate team.

• Gathers pertinent information from insurance carriers
• Verifies insurance coverage and obtains authorization if needed from insurance carrier
• Enters referrals and documents communications, actions and other pertinent data, such as the prior authorization is signed by the provider.
• Communicates with the other team members and referral teams.
• Acts as a liaison between hospital, physicians, health plans, vendors and patients, or other referral services.
• Assist with procuring insurance authorization and tracking of insurance for the Esketamine Clinic.
• Provides exceptional and professional service to ensure efficiency that promotes a positive patient experience.
• Pleasantly greets and registers arriving patients. Answers incoming calls promptly and professionally, evaluates priority, and directs calls appropriately according to urgency.
• Schedules patients appointments in EPIC for the department

Qualifications

• High School Graduate
• Must be well versed in computer skills, such as EXCEL, EPIC, Microsoft Office, and Word
• Minimum one year experience in a medical office setting 
• Knowledge of medical terminology required 
• Knowledge of medical coding preferred i.e: CPT and ICD9 coding 
• Excellent communication skills
