Our practice includes 22 physicians who are board-certified in gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine, 7 Advanced Practice Providers, and an outstanding staff of clinical and administrative personnel.

Huron Gastro currently has an opportunity for a Patient Service Assistant. Under the direction of the Medical Scheduling/Health Information Manager, this position performs a variety of duties to facilitate the efficient patient check-out for patients. Our primary focus is customer service.

Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
Experience
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology preferred
- Basic computer knowledge
- NextGen experience helpful

Responsibilities include:
- Check patients out at end of visit
- Schedule follow up visits or tests as needed
- Collect patient payments
- Create recalls in patients chart
- Send prep and recall instructions
