Patient Representative - Central Scheduling and Registration

We’re looking for a Patient Representative for our Central Scheduling department who can help make our patients’ experience simply exceptional.

We’re looking for someone with a smile in their voice, who has an eye for detail, and who wants to ensure every patient receives the best care possible.

Responsibilities:

• Provides exceptional customer service to patients which establish a positive first impression of PediaTrust practices.
• Patient Scheduling and Registration
• Medical insurance processing and verification
• Maintaining electronic health records/Patient Portal signups
• Collecting Patient Co-Pays, credit card information and outstanding balances
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a healthcare setting/front desk strongly preferred
• Excellent telephone etiquette
• Previous experience with scheduling
• Outstanding customer service skills
• Excellent computer skills and accurate data entry
• EPIC electronic medical record system experience is a plus, previous electronic medical record system required.
