Patient Coordinator

Crabtree Pediatric Dentistry is hiring! We are a privately owned female, single doctor practice and are looking for someone special to join our growing team! Our mission is to provide the best possible care to our young patients and help their parents feel at ease. We are dedicated to creating a fun, safe environment for our patients and our team.

4. Has 2+ years of experience in billing and accounting with PPO insurance plans

7. Experience with dental software (Open Dental is a plus)

8. Understands dental terminology and basic understanding of billing and coding

10. Spanish speaking

Responsibilities

1. Patient Interaction:

• Greet and welcome patients and their families with a cheerful and child-friendly demeanor.
• Assist in the registration and check-in process, ensuring accurate collection of patient information.
• Effectively communicate with parents/guardians regarding appointments, treatment plans, and any necessary follow-up.

2. Appointment Scheduling:

• Coordinate and schedule appointments.
• Manage appointment reminders and follow-up calls to minimize no-shows and ensure timely patient arrival.

3. Administrative Support:

• Maintain organized patient records and ensure compliance with confidentiality regulations.
• Handle phone calls, emails, and inquiries professionally.
• Oversee insurance verification, claims processing, and financial transactions.
• Coordinate referrals to specialists.
• Enter EOBs and complete reports for Accounts Receivable.

4. Office Coordination:

• Oversee the waiting area, maintaining a clean, child-friendly, and welcoming environment.
• Collaborate with dental assistants and other staff to ensure a smooth patient flow.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 37 per week
