Patient Cook/Server

The patient cook is responsible for serving the patient meal items as well as producing quick order patient requests and assisting with production. The shift is 12 hours with rotating weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and dietary guidelines
- Ensure food is served in a timely manner
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards
- Assist with food production and inventory management
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation

Experience:
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service setting preferred
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
- Familiarity with assisted living or healthcare dietary department operations is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong time management skills to ensure meals are prepared and served on schedule
- Proficient in food preparation techniques and cooking methods
