Patient Companion

```Overview:
We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Patient Companion. As a Patient Companion, you will play a vital role in providing support and companionship to patients in various healthcare settings. This is an important position that requires empathy, patience, and the ability to provide comfort to those in need.

Responsibilities:
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as grooming, bathing, and dressing
- Monitor and report any changes in the patient's condition or behavior
- Engage in conversation and provide social interaction for patients
- Assist with mobility and transferring of patients, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Follow all protocols and procedures related to infection control and safety
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations

Requirements:
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of hospice care and assisted living systems is a plus
- Ability to lift heavy objects and assist with patient transfers
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with patients effectively
- Compassionate nature and the ability to provide emotional support
- Valid driver's license for transportation purposes
