Job Summary
- The Patient Care Technician performs duties related to Patient Care under the direct guidance of a Registered Nurse.
- They are responsible for clerical duties as well.
Education and/or Experience
- High school graduate or GED required.
- Must be 16 or older.
- Previous work in a hospital or long-term care facility is preferred.
Certification/Licensure/Registrations
- Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) registry preferred but not required.
- BLS completed within 6 months of start date is required and must be maintained.
- Certification in Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) within one year of employment is required. Certification requirements to be maintained while working in department.
Work Schedule
- Varied Shifts; 72 hours every 2 weeks
- 7:00 am - 7:30 pm, 7:00 pm - 7:30 am
- Every other weekend
- Every other holiday
- Occasional call time
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
- $17.50 - $23.00 per hour
