These are patients that have a higher acuity and need closer monitoring. Their diagnosis varies, and it gives us the opportunity to provide care to a wide variety of patients. We start our days with a huddle to review our goals and get our mindset right. We then get report on our patients and collaborate as nurses and techs to create a plan of care to provide our patients the best care possible. We then perform our responsibilities and tasks for our patients throughout the day. We focus not only on our tasks but on our patients as a whole. We focus on connecting and communicating with them. We create an atmosphere of safety, respect, and compassion. We take responsibility for our actions and work hard to become 1% better every day.
