Position Summary: Works under the direction of a licensed nurse to assist in meeting the physical and psychosocial needs of patients in a professional and timely manner. Performs various tasks as competency documentation designates. Position provides direct care with limited invasives procedures. Other duties as assigned.
PLEASE NOTE: THIS POSITION IS FOR ER AT ANNA - A 9 BED, FULL-SERVICE, FREE STANDING ED LOCATED IN ANNA TX, OPERATING AS A DEPARTMENT OF TEXOMA MEDICAL CENTER.
- Reading and numerical competency
- AHA or ARC BLS (Basic Life Support) Healthcare Provider card showing completion of cognitive and skills evaluation in accordance with the curriculum of AHA BLS (CPR & AED) program. Handle With Care Within 6 months of hire
- Must be able to provide basic care giving skills to patients. Must have effective communication and time management skills
