Provide key aspects of total Patient Care including helping patients with bathing, toileting, feeding and other necessary activities.
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
High School diploma/GED required.
Must have completed a Nursing Assistance program or have Nursing Assistant experience.
Ability to read, write, perform mathematical calculations, and follow written and verbal instructions.
Related post-high school education preferred. (Examples: Unit Clerk, Medical Secretary, etc. or related course work.)
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
At least one year full-time experience performing phlebotomy functions at Phlebotomy I or II level or phlebotomy competence or certification required. Will also consider experience in other allied health professions requiring phlebotomy skills such as: LPHI or II, Paramedic, EMT or Certified Medical Assistant. Experience dealing with public demonstrating excellent customer service skills required.
At least one year experience direct care/lab preferred.
Direct Patient care experience such as Nursing Assistant, Dietetics Representative, Physical Therapy Aide, Phlebotomist, EKG Technician, etc. desired.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
BLS required.
CNA or Phlebotomy certification preferred.
