Patient Care Attendant

Job Summary: Under the supervision of nursing staff members assists in providing Patient Care, prepares records, and maintains a clean environment.

Qualifications/Reporting:

Required minimum education: High School graduate or equivalent

Required minimum experience: One-year experience in a medical setting preferred.

Required skills (if applicable): Ability to read and write English, effective oral and written communication skills and the ability to comprehend and follow verbal or written instructions. Fluency in other languages preferred.

Required license/certification: Texas Nursing Assistant certification preferred. Current BLS certification or must obtain within three months of hire date

Job reports to (title of the position): Medical/Surgical Nurse Manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, Charge Nurse, Staff Nurse, House Supervisor
