Patient Call Center for a Primary Care
Type: temp to hire
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm
- Assist with patient scheduling and registration.
Qualifications:
- Equal to completion of four years of high school required
- Strong computer skills are required and must type at least 35 WPM
- Very good organizational skills are required
- Ability to listen and document simultaneously is required
Responsibilities:
- Southcoast Physicians Group is searching for a Call Center Patient Access Specialist to perform a variety of duties to facilitate patient access to physician practice services throughout Southcoast Physicians Group and Network under the general direction of the Manager, Team Leader, or designee.
- Answering incoming calls to facilitate entering orders
- Assist with patient scheduling and registration
- Enter prescriptions for the physician’s review
- Documentation of phone contact with patient
- Management of the electronic faxes
- Release of information compliance
- Inform patients of test results
- As well as any other tasks assigned to the Call Center.
