SalaryThe Patient Aide provides outstanding support to management, physicians and healthcare providers while providing exceptional internal customer service to the staff. The Patient Aide Coordinator will complete a variety of tasks to ensure that office operations run smoothly and efficiently, we offer training for the following. We are looking for someone who is professional and compassionate. Some of the core responsibilities included, but are not limited to and we provide hands on training:
- Patient Rooming
- Answering Phones
- Taking patient Vitals
- Taking Patient Urine Samples
- Explanation of various medical products offered by the practice
- Making sure the patient has all appropriate documentation for check in and check out
- Assisting the physician or provider with any tasks they may need completed
- Utilizing software, databases, scripts, and tools appropriately
- Taking part in training and other learning opportunities to expand knowledge of company and position
- Adhering to all company policies and procedures
- Monthly rotation to remote offices
- Assisting with C-Arm in procedures
- Excellent follow-up abilities
- Managing supplies in office and keeping close track of inventory when traveling
- Making deposits when needed
- Building lasting relationships with patients and other callers, confirming and clarifying information and diffusing angry patients, as needed
This position is solely the responsibility of the Patient Aide Coordinator to make sure that the office is running smoothly by keeping all providers on time with patients roomed immediately. You must be knowledgeable in medical practice operations.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Must be available between the hours of 7:45am to 5pm Monday, Wednesday, Thursday. On Tuesdays and Fridays hours are 7:30am to 5:00pm
Excellent Customer Service skills Required
High School Diploma
Basic computer proficiency with MS Office: Outlook, Word and Excel
