Patient Administrative Associate - Monitor Technician - Telemetryat Saint Johns Health Center
The Patient Administrative Associate/Monitor Technician (PAA/MT) provides clerical and administrative support, admitting activities, and insurance verification in the PCC/SDU units. In addition, the MT is responsible to observe the monitors, run and measure the telemetry strips, and report significant dysrhythmias to the nurse.
Required qualifications:
- Successful completion of basic Dysrhythmia or Basic EKG class within 90 days of hire
- Current BLS
- 1 year working in a healthcare related setting/field
Preferred qualification:
- Successful completion (passed) a Basic Dysrhythmia or Basic EKG class
