Position Purpose
A patient services representative trainer is responsible for a variety of activities related to the training of new PSRs and the continued education of current PSRs. This is a full-time position that requires experience, excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
Responsibilities and Duties
Training of all new PSRs in regards to daily office operations.
Evaluating all PSR trainees on accuracy and efficiency.
Ability to balance EODs, locate discrepancies and correct.
Maintain inventory and submit front office supply order to administration.
Copy medical information as requested following proper procedures.

Patient check in/out
Charge entry
Self-payment posting
Patient scheduling including MRI, PT, surgery, padnet
Workers comp/Claim info
Date last seen
Refurbished orthotics, non-covered orthotics
Understanding Insurance
Navigating Epic Dar
ABNs
Referrals, authorization, pre-certifications
Navicure
Payment plans, care credit
Scanning documents
Account status (Bad Address, Statement Intervention)
Any other work-related duties determined appropriate by management.
