Patient Access Specialist

Job Duties:

• Provide initial customer service experience to all patients and visitors, by greeting them in a warm and welcoming manner
• Provide patients appointment scheduling and confirming of appointments
• Facilitate patient check-in's and check-out's
• Collect and post payments received by patients
• Complete patient intake, conduct patient insurance verifications and authorizations
• Create patient files and maintain confidentiality of medical records

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Experience in a customer service related role preferred
• 1 - 2 years hospital admissions / physician office experience preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred

This position will rotate between our Bedford, Keller, and Mansfield offices.

Our office hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
