Patient Access Representative (Apply On Company Website)

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the Patient Access department, ensuring efficient and effective patient registration and scheduling processes
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve Patient Access services and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Train, supervise, and evaluate the performance of Patient Access staff
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline workflows and enhance the patient experience
- Monitor key performance indicators and implement strategies to optimize department performance
- Resolve patient complaints or issues related to registration, scheduling, or billing
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in Patient Access management

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field (preferred)
- Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a healthcare setting
- Strong knowledge of medical office operations, including patient registration, scheduling, and insurance verification
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Epic or Eaglesoft
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, staff, and providers
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Familiarity with medical billing processes and insurance requirements

-High School Diploma and Job experience supplemented for Bachelors degree

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 75 – 80 per week
