- Explain insurance benefits to patients
- Collects patient responsibility amounts
- Verifies the COB of insurances
- Validates payer authorization/referral
- Calculates point of service payments, estimated payments and refers patients to the financial counselor for payment arrangements
- Sends patient reasonability letters, when applicable
- Demonstrate basic level Microsoft Outlook & Word experience
