Responsibilities
- To compile and file patient information, give information to callers, schedule appointments, and provide routine clerical support.
- Assist in other areas of the Radiation Therapy Department as deemed necessary. Interact with physicians' offices and other Hillcrest departments.
- Work with the Radiation Therapists billing office.
- The position verifies insurance, obtains all authorizations, registers and does financial counseling with the Cancer patient.
- Will participate in performance initiatives.
- Will assist with other activities as deemed necessary for the day to day operation of the dept.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Previous Patient Access/Service experience preferred
