Job Description
- Compiling, organizing, and analyzing discovery in document-intensive cases related to complex business disputes
- Engaging in discussions with opposing counsel and third parties regarding discovery disputes
- Drafting pleadings, disposition motions, Federal Circuit and Markman briefs, and other pertinent litigation documents
- Managing all aspects of discovery, including conducting interviews and gathering ESI (experience with various document review platforms, such as Relativity, is preferred)
- Preparing for depositions of facts and expert witnesses as a part of the team
- Arguing hearings and providing support to senior litigators in other court proceedings
- Directly interacting with clients and offering strategic litigation and risk management advice
- Preparing for and attending trials with the assigned trial team
Requirements
Qualified individuals will demonstrate expertise in managing intricate litigation cases involving intellectual property, securities, contracts, anticompetitive conduct, and other complex commercial disputes. Key qualifications include proficiency in drafting discovery and disposition motions, managing eDiscovery using diverse tools and techniques, and providing support during depositions and/or trial to lead counsel.

Job Requirements:
- Familiarity with ESI Protocols and Tools
- Drafting correspondence, motions, and other written products
- 1750 hours annually
- Dedication to litigation and/or trial practice
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited school
Experience:
- 3-6 years of Patent Litigation experience in a private law firm
- Federal clerkship with a United States District Court or Circuit Court (preferred)
- Experience using ESI protocols and tools
- Experience supporting or conducting depositions
- Experience leading the composition of dispositive motions
Other Requirements:
- Law Review/Law Journal or Moot Court
- US Citizen
